First, we must first realize that we are all sinners. No one except Jesus Christ has ever led a perfect life
Second, we must realize that the wages of sin is death, an eternal separation from God
Third, we must realize there is nothing we can do on our own to receive salvation. It is a gift, totally free for those who ask. It is only through the perfect life of Jesus Christ and his death and resurrection from the cross. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and not from yourselves
Finally, we must call upon Jesus to forgive us of our sins and ask him into our hearts
(Romans 10:9-10), this is the assurance of your salvation.
If you want to receive God’s Free Gift, and confess Jesus as your Lord and Savior,
“Father, I come before you realizing that I need Jesus in my life. I believe that Jesus is the Son of God that He came in the flesh; that He died on the cross and took my punishment for my sins; that He then rose again from the dead and I ask Jesus into my life as Lord and Savior. I ask you to forgive all my sins and evil ways of life.
Thank you, Father, and thank you Jesus for coming into my life and making me a child of God, knowing I can receive all that Jesus is. I ask this in the name and by the blood of Jesus Christ, Amen.”
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast.
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
I John 5:13
These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish; neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.
